Job Fair

The job fair was organized through the Navi Mumbai Ward Consultant Committee (employment, trade and industry) formed by State and Guardian minister Ganesh Naik under his Jeevandhara concept for the city. It was organized in association with ‘Manipal Global Education Services’   Irize employment-self employment centre.

The job fair held at Hegade Bhavan in sector 15 fo Airoli was inaugurated by Ganesh Naik. It Started at 10 am and continued well into the evening . 50 well known reputed companies set up their stalls at the fair.

Following the registration of the candidates, an aptitude  test was conducted Based on the results of the result, the candidates were guided on their expertise and the interviews they should appear for. A booklet with guidelines on how to appear for an interview was also given to them.
The selected candidates were handed over appointment letters by Ganesh Naik. One of those who secured a job was Sulochana Chaskar, a physically challenged girl who got a job at Ancer Communication.

Speaking on the occasion, Ganesh Naik said, “Through jevendhara we want to ensure that the person at the bottom of the society pyramid too should be able to make a contribution to the society. There are 22 committees working in various fields with several more being added.”

Stated Naik, “ Unemployment is a mojor issue in the society today. Several youth get disappointed and also go astray due to lack of jobs. Such fairs help in getting them back on course. Due to financial constraints several youth are unable to continue studies and them have to move around knocking doors for jobs. Such youth too benefitted from the fair.”

Assured Naik, “In the job fair that we organized on January 10 this year, over 1500 youths got jobs. We will continue with such job fairs till unemployment is brought down to zero in the city.”
“Minister Ganesh Naik has earlier secured jobs for thousand s of local unemployed youth in the industries of Thane Belapur belt . As a workers’ leader, not just in Navi Mumbai, but in the entire State his contribution to ensure that both the workers and the companies co-exist peacefully has been significant. The Employment, Trade and Industry committee formed by him under jeevandhara is not only ensuring that the educated unemployed youth get jobs but is also giving them a direction.”

Informed naik, “ Companies from the field of It, Management, HR, engineering, pharmacy, hotel management etc, participated in the fair. Most of these are based in Navi Mumbai and hence the youth are getting jobs in the city itself.”
Fair For Young Entrepreneurs and Businessmen and Job Specific FairsSpeaking at the job Fair, Ganesh Naik announced an other fair to provide opportunities for budding entrepreneurs and businessmen of the city.

Said Naik, “On the same lines as this fair was organized to provide jobs to the unemployed youth of the city under Jeevandhaara concept, we are also planning a fair to prepare  new entrepreneurs and businessmen in Navi Mumbai.”
